It starts with a conversation, not a config screen. We sit down with you — in person or online — to understand how you travel, who’s coming, and where you want to go. Layout, spec level, finishes and off-grid capacity all come out of that conversation.

We turn the conversation into a documented build specification — every inclusion, every finish, every measurement — so there are no surprises. You review it, we refine it together, and nothing goes to the floor until you’re happy.

We oversee every stage
Your build is checked against your signed specification as it progresses, and we send progress photos at each milestone: chassis, body, fit-out, finishing. You see your caravan come together without having to chase anyone for an update.

Before handover, your Wildtrail moves through our quality assurance process covering the caravan, its systems, finishes and operation.
Because handover shouldn’t be the first time someone checks whether everything works.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom caravan cost?
A custom Wildtrail starts from $84,990 (WC-S) and rises with spec level, layout and options — the V-Spec II starts from $176,990. Because you start from a spec level and a proven floor plan rather than a blank sheet, you get a custom van without a custom-from-scratch price.
Can I design my own caravan layout?
Yes. Start from one of 26 floor plans, then tailor bunks, ensuite position, lounge, benchtops, cabinetry, tapware, flooring and off-grid power with our team. Your final specification is signed off and documented before the build starts.
How long does a custom caravan build take?
Typically 16-24 weeks from signed specification and deposit to in-person handover at our Epping showroom, depending on spec level and build queue.
Do I need to visit Melbourne to design a custom caravan?
No. Design sit-downs can be done in person in Epping or online, and the Wildtrail Project teams travel Australia so you can walk through a real van near you. Vans are delivered Australia-wide.
